Crushed (shredded) foam is suitable for applications such as packaging or stuffing soft toys, bean bag inserts, and scatter cushions. It can be mixed with polystyrene beads in beanbags to reduce squeaking sounds and to add bounce and improved feel to the polystyrene beads. Environmentally friendly recycled from premium furniture manufacturing cut offs (assorted colours) which is better fill for bean bag chairs and will last for many years.
Foam is a man made product and when brand new may have a slight smell to it; this is due to a release of chemicals used in its manufacture. This release into the air is a process known technically as off-gassing. The smell is normal and there is nothing wrong with the foam. Some people are more sensitive than others and hence for them it may last longer. The smell will diminish over time.
Due to the nature of the foam being vacuum packed, once it’s been opened and expanded it is not able to be returned.

The chair is well constructed.
The chair is well constructed. It would be good customer service to say how much foam is needed fill one. I ordered twice the amount another customer said and was only 1/3 of the way… The chairs could not be used until I took them to clark rubber and … spent an hour there with help from staff to fill it. The had no more foam scraps so… here I am with two chairs that are not firm enough to sit up in.

Lounger Plush Fur Bean Bag Chair - Champagne Latte (LARGE)
Ordered this product, very happy with it. Fast shipping, great communication and high quality product. Very comfortable bean bag and large enough for an adult. The only drawback I experienced is that there is th 120L/3kg of foam ordered with it wasn't enough to fill the bean bag completely, or to at least make it look like the picture. I will be ordering another 3kg bag of foam. I would suggest to anyone ordering to get at least 6kg worth of foam to really fill the bean bag out if you prefer it that way.

Foam an issue for Sensory Sensitive
As a person with Sensory issues, I unfortunately assumed that this foam was suitable for persons on the spectrum, especially as this site supports ndis. The foam is as the site promoted, lumpy, with large pieces. Thinking that the large pieces must be needed to help with support, I purchased. The large pieces are very lumpy, can be felt and are distracting. Some may not find this an issue, however some do.. A better option would be for this site to have a selection of foams, explaining the different results. I am now left with the only option of dumping all the foam in my bath, and cutting it up. Very time consuming and disappointing. I agree with other reviews, too much plastic wrappings. Very happy with the Boucle Fur Bean Bag, its warm and snuggly.

Being able to customise the foam filling density and texture would certainly be ideal, however, while we currently don't have the capacity to do this we have chosen a filling type that has accommodated to the most amount of people. Hopefully one day we can expand our range of filling options to offer a more specialised experience. We share your feelings about the excessive plastic wrappings. We are continuously looking for ways to improve our packaging to be more environmentally friendly, and have removed excessive plastic wrapping from the majority of our products. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find an alternative for vacuum-packaged products, but we are still trying! On a positive note, we are glad to hear that you are happy with the Boucle Fur Bean Bag. Your satisfaction with this product is important to us, and we hope you enjoy it for many years to come.
